That was an incredible game last night. Unfortunately we got the short end of the stick. Given how the game was played what rank do you think LSU deserves to be now?

This is where they will drop. They should rise to number 2 if the polls were going to be accurate. Bama rolls from here on out without much trouble in my opinion.

I have always wondered why teams have to drop. Say The # 1 team beat the #12 team 28 to 24 on the last drive, why move the #12 team down, but in all honesty I would keep LSU the same.

well the way I see it is only Bama is REALLY better than LSU and it's pretty close

I think Bama/LSU would beat all these unbeatens so since it was a very close game LSU should be #2

but of course they'll be 10 or so

6 or 7. In reality they're 1b, but that isn't how polls work (sadly).

Coming into the game, I thought LSU was a top 3 team but they weren't playing like it. Last night showed how good they were capable of. It's just too bad that it took too many games for the light to come on for that team. LSU probably should be ranked at six behind Florida and the other undefeated teams. Even though they beat Florida, UGA has been so unimpressive against mediocre opponents this year. I just don't think they're the sixth or seventh best team in the country.

If I were doing a poll, my top ten would be:

1 Bama
2 Oregon
3 Kansas St
4 Georgia
5 Notre Dame
6 Florida
7 Lsu
8 South Car
9 Fla St
10 Louisville

eta- I really am torn on whether to have Fla over them, tbh.

That seems pretty fair. I think LSU would handle all teams ranked between us and bama tho

We were ahead of them before and we only lost on a literal last minute drive to the #1 team. I see no reason to drop us below them.

Alabama beat the real number 1 team in the country (makes LSU # 2 now). They can talk Oregon, Kansas State , etc. all they want. There are several teams in the SEC better than them. Alabama must beat Texas A&M next week.

they beat you head to head, and have less losses.

pretty easy to put them ahead of LSU

I'd put LSUat 5 on that list. Florida has regressed somewhat and these amp cats would just stomp ND.
