This kid played light out all game. I can see why hopes for him were so high coming into this season. He has a rocket arm and was spot on with his placement. That fade was a thing of beauty. If he keeps this up, LSU is going to put up serious yardage from now on.
I have made fun of him and talked about what garbage he has been all year. He served me a great big glass of shutup juice last night.

He really played a damn good game. It's unlike him. Funny how football is like that. Great opponent bringing the best out of someone.

Played the best game of his life. It will be interesting to see if he goes full on Garcia and bombs the rest of the season or if he truly has had the light come on. If the light really has come on for him, then I fully expect LSU to run the table next year and win the BCSNC.

The WRs have dropped a bevy of passes this year, but Mett has made terrible throws and bad decisions also. He showed how good he can be when he gets it together.

It was encouraging. He played a complete game and our wideouts finally showed up. Kid has a big arm and didn't panic at all last night. Impressive.

Very impressed with him last night. Especially on 3rd down. We just couldn't get them off the field.
