Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron was so overcome by emotion after leading the Crimson Tide to a go-ahead score against LSU on Saturday night that he began crying on the sidelines. McCarron and Bama’s offense were quiet in the second half of the game in Baton Rouge and it looked like they were going to lose. After LSU missed a field goal, Bama got the ball at their 28 with 1:34 left and went 72 yards over five plays in just 43 seconds to take the lead. After being able to do much in the second half, McCarron led his team down the field for the win. He capped the drive with a 28-yard touchdown pass to T.J. Yeldon. The junior quarterback went 14/27 for 165 yards and the winning touchdown in Bama’s 21-17 win over LSU. He also had a rushing touchdown. Bama fans no doubt like this image a lot more than last year’s Roll Tide crying image.

I guess AJ and his chest tat have something in common.

I'll quote Tom T. Hall here:

quote:

I love honest open smiles, kisses from a child
Tomatoes on the vine...and onions
I love winners when they cry, losers when they try
Music when it's good...and life

I didn't slag on Tebow either. I defend both of them.

At least Tebow cried when he lost. Tebows crying also looked manly (just a few tears). McCarron looked like a little bitch.

I tell you what, I would take a damn crier on the UK team right about now if it meant being 9-0 at this point.

WGAF? Guy left it on the field. Lots of emotion in front of a stadium full of LSU fans.

SEC championship, BCS championship, Bama fans expectations, Saban's expectations, family in the stands, entire team hopes riding on his shoulders... so he cried when they came back and won a game at the end.

Is this all you have to worry about? Get over it. Very obvious you never played sports beyond junior high.

Good grief.

He was crying because he was thinking "If only Colt McCoy could know how this feels."

You can always tell the guys who never played sports, or at least who never committed themselves.

When you invest a lot, there is a lot of emotion to be tapped, win or lose.

I knew he would get made fun of, but I don't really think it is a big deal. He didn't look great all night but was clutch when he needed to be. Nothing wrong with being emotional. That was a great win against a great LSU team last night. I didn't make fun of Tebow when Florida lost to us that year. They are only human and emotions run so high in games sometimes.

Oh I'm sure I'll laugh my arse off at the gifs we'll see about this. I admit, the first thing I thought of was how shitty so many of the Bama fans were toward Tebow. I actually rejoiced that they'd have shite rubbed in their face for this.
