I thought I would never see a game better than LSU v Florida in 2007

Tonight's game, however, supplanted that game. What we just saw was the paragon of a great football game. Sure, I would've preferred a W, but shite happens. Sucks to play our best game of the season (by far) and still lose. I will still be proud to have Bama representing the SEC in the national championship, and they deserve it. I don't think anyone from any fanbase can disrespect either team after tonight.
Hopefully this is Mett's blossoming, much like AJ's NCG last year. He was awesome tonight. Hopefully he can maintain this level of play.
Good luck the rest of the season, Bama. Can't wait for y'all to stomp Oregon and keep the streak alive.

No Florida 07 was a crazier game. Agree on Mett though, if he can get over 250 in most games than I like us in every game

I think this is what most people do. That's why people don't label LSU-Bama a rivalry -- both teams view each other with mutual respect and admiration. You can have that and still be rivals.
