After watching this game, I have to admit I was very surprised by Mett's performance. The kid looked like what most around the country thought he would look like at the beginning of the year. LSU put it's most complete game of the year together and falls short.

As for Les Miles, this was far from his best game. A fake FG on 4th and 12? Yea that's smart. Questionable coaching in this game is the sole reason LSU lost. Hats off the Bama and Saban for being what they always are, discipline, smart football. But, it was more Les giving Bama the game than Bama winning it. As an LSU fan, I'm highly disappointed.

You should be disappointed in Les. He took points off the board that would have won the game AND he made decisions that put Alabama in great field position (the 54 yarder before half for example).

Mettenberger played the game LSU had to have from him to win.. Les just couldn't resist digging into his bag of tricks and it cost LSU the game this time around.

Mett outplayed A.J. tonight and that would've been the big difference. My hats off to the kid, he went nuts in the 2nd half and we had no answer.

Great game considering it's not a rivalry

Les lost this game, not the first, will not be the last.
