It's pretty obvious we vastly underrate the big12 on this board. It's always been on par with the SEC, and with how far UT and Auburn have fallen, I think you could make an argument that it's a vastly superior conference this year.

This has nothing to do with conference strength. This is about A&M changing a lot up to stop stepping on their dicks. New coach, new conference, and playing with the belief they can win. Those first halves where A&M crushes were not flukes. They just couldn't finish and it developed to learned helplessness.

a bottom half of the league team steps in and is probably the second best team in the conference. in their first season.

Don't you have to beat the elite to be in the elite?
They have lost to both of the elite teams they have played, at home...

They're stomping a mudhole in MSU. Who has MSU beat so far? Who else would MSU beat? The fact MSU is doing well in-conference should be an indication how far the SEC has fallen.
But A&M does have a tendency to shite the bed in the 2nd half so lets wait and see what happens.

They've lost two conference games to teams that aren't considered the best in the conference. That puts them at 4th, at best. How the hell do you argue for 2nd best team in the conference?
