Some are making us easy targets as well.

I'm all for a good trolling but just going out on the SECr and acting the fool then screaming "I trolled you" isnt trolling...at all.

Me too. I've been asked by 4 different people in the past day and a half, on different boards, to get some of our posters under control. That takes the fun out of it for me.

I don't mind mixing things up a little, all in good fun, and I will defend a Mizzou poster all day long when they're being unfairly attacked. But in this case, they are asking for it. And by refusing to tone it down, they've clearly said they don't care that their actions impact all of us in a negative way.

And don't tell me I need to get a thicker skin. Judging from the reactions, I'm in the majority on this one. So please, guys, just tone it down some. Don't start ridiculous threads that just make Mizzou the target of every troll here. And don't say things that don't have a basis in reality. Have fun, troll a little - just don't paint such a big target on every Mizzou poster here. Let the rest of us enjoy ourselves too.

100% of the Mizzou threads started by 1% of the Mizzou posters are pure trash.

There is no subtlety to that dude. I can't figure out how he even gets replies in his threads. There's really not much to talk about on the rant that's Mizzou related at this point, and going on there and talking about how Mizzou will beat the snot out of FL or that we will go to the Final Four is just stupid, and will only result in all of us getting hammered on there.

Oh, it's not Kills. He has clearly said, many times, that he doesn't represent all of us. And he's grown on me - he's actually pretty funny most of the time.

Some of our younger and more overly-enthusiastic posters have been starting threads about we're going to win the SEC in basketball, how we'll beat Kentucky, we're the new overlords, will be in the Final Four, etc. After one exhibition game.

Oh, and guaranteeing we're going to beat Florida in the Swamp Saturday.

It's turned into a circus, resulting in Mizzou having a big bullseye and the trolls going after all of us.

I don't even think we are close to the worst trolling fan base on the rant.

Arkansas is just terrible, a decent poster from there is few and far between. Honestly, I can't think of one off the top of my head.

All teams have trolls, we don't have the overall number of posters like other teams, so our trolling sticks out more, imo.

And Semo, I'm pretty sure it's basically one, at most two people making wild threads and we know who they are... And honestly, it doesn't bother me (did at first). Sometimes it goes overboard and makes us look dumb, but I'm glad they're puttin up a fight for us on this cesspool.

99% of the threads on SECr are ridiculously stupid and serve no point other than to troll/flame. It is what it is. It is probably why they made team boards.

Exactly. I honestly don't mind some trolling. But that stuff is just over the top and makes us look dumb. He's been banned once - likely will be again if he keeps it up.
