Dale you are outta of your mind. We maybe would have 2 loses but we win Rutgers, Ole Miss, and ULM.

We would for sure make a bowl.

HawgAlude screams Hogville lover no?

Reminds me of reading Hogville all over again.

Stay over there with this stupid shite.

We aren't getting Gruden, zero chance, and most smart people don't even want him.

I'll give you ULM, the defense is what lost the other two and Petrino isn't going to change that.

He would have made adjustments, and he for sure would not have scored with 3 minutes left against Ole Miss and then play bend but don't break defense. We are a lot better football team than Ole Miss. I have never said we would get Gruden, I do not buy into it and never have. Again, I post things I know to be true like an early morning tip I got that Petrino was fired 8 hours before it was announced.

Hogville is a bunch of media controlled bullchit but some of the people over there especially the mods are close to the program. With that said, I think they are building up a Jeff Long failure so that they can all axe him when his east coast whipping boy he does hire, does not work out.

Dale, you seriously don't think we would have beaten Rutgers and OM with BP still here?

It isn't a definite, Rutgers was pretty much a shootout and we've seen Petrino lose games in similar fashion as the Ole Miss game played out (LSU '10) comes to mind.

The Rutgers game no i don't, beucase the reals reason we lost that game was our lack of secondary depth

but the ole miss game no questions asked we win. you give petrino that type of d performance and he's not gonna lose.

they just don't get it, we were in trouble with or without Petrino this season.

When you start two walkons on your offensive line and it isn't due to injuries, you have problems, and OL isn't the only position Petrino forgot to get any depth at.

I'm with you , we would probably have beat ULM with him, but that's the only difference.

Gee I do not share your bleak outlook on how things would have turned out with Petrino this season.

Tyler Wilson would be checking receivers instead of looking right at them and throwing 2 interceptions a game. With Petrino we lose two games, Bama and TAMU and the others we win. It just feels like we will not be back for while now. This is not the 1980s everything is big time and we may have trouble competing unless we hire the right coach.

what hidden secret players did BP have to play OL , LB, and DB.

we suck, and I mean SUCK at those positions. not even close to SEC upper talent.

this was the season Petrino's shitty recruiting catches up with him, if his motorcycle wreck hadn't happened.

turner and peters have shown enough where ic an't say the LB's suck anymore. even hines has come on and he's playing really well. but at the beginning of the year, yeah that was nothing petrino could have done to beat rugters short of somehow getting jercho nelson and termain thomas back on the field

Petrino being here wouldn't have eliminated the injuries, no depth on Defense(especially at LB)

I was having a "meh" morning then I read this:

apparently Sean Payton is now in the running for the coaching job since his contract was voided . Between Gruden, Pete, and Payton i really don't see how we hire a bad coach. The best around want the job.

I do not think that we get Gruden, but before you flame me away think about this.

Why would camp Gruden not make a statement about it? Daly is one of his celebrity friends and I know for a FACT he put Long and Gruden into conversation. No the results of that conversation?

who knows.

Because its just one board full of dillusional fans talking about it. Yea you may get a blurb here or there from Otis or Trey but outside of Hogville its not being talked about seriously.

Its not like the big sports networks are discussing it regularly.

Otis says that there is nothing to it. He hasn't heard anything about Gruden in awhile and the booster he knew that was pushing Gruden is now supposedly pushing Tubberville.
