Yes I know UGA is done at Safety.
But I was curious which would you rather have?
I would take Conner.

I hope Alabama takes Vonn Bell, if given the choice between the two. I just don't trust Mississippi kids. We've been burned too many times on head cases/academic casualties/etc. among the elite players over there.

Yeah for whatever reason, Alabama is a terrible place for MS kids

Connor because he is in state but I haven't watched any film or highlights of either. The only downside with Connor is the crap shoot of him being out of SP, half of them pan out and half don't.

In regards to Antonio Conner, this is unfair honestly. Great kid, tremendous work ethic, excellent grades, etc... None of the character concerns of many past SP kids
He is the most surefire and well-rounded prospect that I remember coming out of South Panola...and he will still be that even if he chooses to go to Ole Miss

Alabama hasn't signed an elite Mississippi kid that panned out since the Gene Stallings era.

Good for him, I didn't know much about him and shouldn't have lumped him in with the general SP stereotype. Sounds like a great kid.

Anthony Steen was rated a three-star by most services when he signed in 2009. Kevin Norwood was slightly higher in most rankings. Both have been great players for Alabama. However, I'm talking about guys like Zo Lawrence and Jimmy Johns that never did anything. Dandy Dozen type players from the state of Mississippi.

Connor is pretty close to Brassell from what I've been told. It wouldn't surprise me if his recruitment mirrored Brassell's. OM/MSU/Bama battle up until signing day. I think too much is pulling him to OM for him to go anywhere else but it wouldn't surprise me if he ended up at Bama.

Not really. Figured I'd wait until the season is over with and more film gets put out there. A lot of these kids film aren't updated throughout the season so I only have sophomore film to look at. A ton of developmental and mechanical progress could have been made in the past year.
