1) Georgia goes 11-1 and represents the SEC East
2) Alabama goes 12-0 and wins the SEC West
3) Florida goes 11-1
4) Notre Dame finishes 11-1 losing to USC
5) Kansas State finishes 11-1 losing to Texas
6) Oregon wins the PAC 12 but finishes 12-1
7) Georgia beats Alabama in the SECCG

Georgia would likely get the first spot

Alabama would have wins over: LSU, Texas A&M, MSU, and Michigan.

Florida would have wins over: LSU, SC, FSU, and Texas A&M.

Notre Dame would have a win over Michigan State, Oklahoma, Stanford, and Michigan.

Kansas State would have wins over Oklahoma, West Virginia, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State.

Oregon would have wins over Arizona, Washington, USC, Stanford, and Oregon State.

I'll almost be glad when the season is over so we don't have four threads like this a day anymore.

Alabama and Oregon IMO. UGA's four TD loss against USC will keep them out of the national championship game.

Notre Dame would somehow get in there if I had to guess.

The likely answer to the OP.

Georgia beats Bama in Atlanta, but Bama goes to Miami? Bama Logic

It isn't unprecedented. Texas beat Oklahoma on a neutral field in 2008 and Oklahoma made it to the Big 12 title game and BCS Championship game over them.

I think it would come down to Oregon, Florida, and Alabama.

Oregon would have a win over their only loss which would give them credence.

Florida would be coming off a win over a top 5 Florida State team and would have 3 wins over top 5 teams throughout the season.

Alabama is Alabama.

Texas and Oklahoma played in October not December.

I didn't thoroughly analyze the OP, but if UGA wins out, beats bama in the SECCG, and ND, KSU, and Oregon all have a loss there is no way, no how, any way possible at all UGA is left out of the CG.

Yes but Georgia has no shot in hell of beating Alabama in the SEC Championship Game so this thread is moot anyway.

There is a chance. There are injuries and other things that cause upsets to happen.

It's a good question. No way to pick two clear teams from that.

I don't think you can take UGA over any other 1 loss team if their loss is to a tough opponent and it's a close game. That collapse against South Carolina was disastrous. But you also can't take Bama over UGA in that scenario...so it's a tough call among the SEC teams. And the others are just as wild. Oklahoma is propping up two of those teams right now, and USC could be the one to expose two of them.

I remember people saying there was no way Iowa State would beat Okie State last season and we all know how that went
