Where to stay for the LSU-Ark game, please? TIA
And yes, I used the search function through old threads so don't even start with me.
When we ordered tickets, I thought the game was in Little Rock but I think we will still go.

They aren't going to be easy to find. Try looking up in Rogers and Bentonville. About a 20 minute drive but lots to eat and do there and hotels should be much more reasonable.
Either way I hope you have a safe trip and enjoy our real home stadium/atmosphere.

The Holiday Inn offers a complimentary bamboo breakfast.

I just booked a room with two queens in a hotel in fayetteville last night. Had to have been a cancellation because every other hotel in fayetteville is booked for that week.

First, thanks for the welcome. We're just going to make a family trip of it and enjoy an unconventional Thanksgiving. I noticed maybe the Chancellor, and then an Inn on campus - previously converted dorm? Our kids are LSU students staying with Ark residents who go to LSU, so PandaSpouse and I can enjoy a hotel with amenities if there's one worth the extra $ (no offense).

Really??? Never heard of it. Thanks SO MUCH for your help. Truly. I'm grateful.
I always prefer the internet over local recommendations and perspective...

So you noticed the Chancellor and the Inn on campus. I'm guessing you googled hotels in Fayetteville and that's what you found. Then you came over here and started a 'look at me I'm going to a road game' thread and even managed to mention that money is no object for you. Congrats, we're all VERY impressed.

lulz, you dumb.
Fville hotels are likely booked up, but it might be worth calling around, also I know there a website out there that specifically rents out houses and condos for game weekends in SEC college towns. Of course I can't remember the name but I'm sure a google search will find it.

do you really have nothing to do but pick fights on the internet? please go away.
Yes i did a little homework, then came to ask our SEC friends their advice. Never did I say money is no object, did you not see the plurals on kidS in college? But neither am I broke.
For the love of all that is good, GO. AWAY. and let me have an adult conversation.

Most should be full...
Try Rogers or Bentonville

try the Simmons Suite in Bentonville (just off I-540)...about 25 min. or so from the campus.
Rogers has a slew off them just off the Walnut exit (Country Inn, Fairfield and about 5 others)...Bentonville has several off the same exit (but you'll turn left at that exit; Holiday Inn, Microtel + about 5 others).

If I were panda, I'd just find a way into Ben's Apartment Bar and crash on the couch.

It seemed like a reasonable question to me.
Anyway, if you can find one in Fayetteville (especially near campus) all is well. Otherwise like I said I think further up the road has many more options. Ruth's Chris is having a Thanksgiving special if money is no object.

You may try to find a room in Springdale or Rogers, both are an easy drive to the stadium.
Be sure to spend lots of money in Fayettville, visit at least one of our many fine dining establishments, stay away from AQ. After the game feel free to drown your sorrows at one of the bars around Dixon street, a good drink should help ease the pain of LSU's loss on the field. Try and recruit as many LSU fans as you can to make the trip, as if you travel as poorly as last time you will be giving LR the leverage to move the game back to WMS.
