Hell no. We're Auburn, not Ole Miss.

Even we don't let our coaches come back from that.

I do. I would keep him if we can fire our AD, and clean out the trash we have around the program.

That coaching staff has lost the team and the fanbase. I want Jacobs out too, but Chizik has to go.

Does Auburn keep Van Gorder?

I could see AU kicking him to the curb and bringing in someone like Malzahn.

No idea. I would want to. I still think he's a good coach.

If Chizik is canned, obviously it would be up to the new coach. That being said, I hope he is kept. If Chizik isn't canned, I think the only coach to go is Loeffler.

I hope so. I like the Stache.

No Ole Miss coach has ever survived an 0-8 record. Why would Auburn allow Gene to be any different?

This.

No SEC team should tolerate an in- conference goose egg.

Chizik will be canned after the season... Tubs resigned, but the 5-7 season and a 36-0 loss to Bama did him in (this was after winning 6 in a row over Bama and a should have been NAttie in 2004).

With regards to coaches the order is

1) Jimbo Fisher
2) Petrino
3) Strong
4) Malzahn

These threads are getting ridiculous. Chizik won a NC two years ago. He's one of the premier coaches in the country. Let him finish out his contract.

Tubs didn't resign. He was paid a buyout. He got canned.

#1 and #3 would be my choices.

Oh STFU
Would you allow Saban to go 0-8 in the SEC next year?

How would firing Jay Jacobs improve Chizik's coaching ability? Jay Jacobs should be fired, but only to make sure he doesn't screw up the next coaching hire.

Not really understanding the love for Stache. It will be interesting to see the love after Johnny Football visits this weekend. All he needs is 20 for the win, you'd think he'd easily get 30 and actually I'm thinking about 40. What about the Stache then?

14-6....oh wait. Wrong thread.

The Stache hasn't been given time to develop the defense. Which, IMO, I think he will be able to do.

This.

Hell, every fanbase would. Possible exceptions being UK and Vandy.

SEC fans would run baby Jesus out of town after 0-8.
