Texas A&M, Georgia and Alabama all look like losses.

I don't think he will get canned this season, but if he finishes below .500 next season, I could see AU kicking him to the curb and bringing in someone like Malzahn.

I do. I would keep him if we can fire our AD, and clean out the trash we have around the program.

They should fire him, but who is the better coaching candidate out there? Looks like a bunch of Dooleys. Merlin won't stop grinding until he gets an AAA program making him an offer.

He should IMO. Auburn fans are so quick to forget he brought them their first 'ship in 50 years. That's gotta be worth something IMHO.

Sadly, Chizik's Mother died today. I don't think they would be cold enough to fire him on the same day.

The list of coaches they can pull in gets shorter every time this happens.

I'm hearing on Sunday a lot of things were already going down in Auburn to get him out as quickly as possible.

He's getting fired during or right after this season is over.

No Ole Miss coach has ever survived an 0-8 record. Why would Auburn allow Gene to be any different?

Hell no. We're Auburn, not Ole Miss.
