Didn't he already turn down the Tennessee job to stay at Duke?

Hopefully not at Kentucky, but he has a strong relationship with Barnhart.

Why would you not want Cutcliffe?

I don't think he was a Duke for long when he was offered the Tennessee job. Might have been wrong timing for him.

Tennessee will offer more money during the summer. He's gonna take Duke to a bowl.. FTW.

His success at Duke this season is a bit of fools gold based on their schedule. He also had some issues recruiting in arguably the strongest recruiting base in the country (Miss). What could he do in Kentucky if that's the case?

Tennessee would have to miss on quite a few coaches to hire CDC.

Hamilton isn't the AD anymore, fellas.

He also had one of the lowest recruiting budgets he was working with. He would at least have Kentucky better off than what they are now.

You guys should go back and fix your error that led to your current situation.

Fulmer is going into the Hall of Fame and would like to coach again for some years.

I think I read a story recently that he and his wife are very happy there. I would think with his age and health, he would like some stability, and expectations at Duke are not the same as most SEC schools.

What do you think he would have at Kentucky?

We're currently in the Catch 22 of no one wants to spend money in a dead product but the product can't improve until money is spent. It wouldn't take much to have us better off then we are right now, but the program needs more then that to get back to where we were when Brooks left. I'd prefer the program shoot higher then Cutliffe.

With his age and the job security he now has at Duke, I think he stays put.

I don't think he wanted to be the guy to replace his good friend Fulmer either.

He wasn't offered the job last time, but whenever it's open his name is thrown around.

He should wind up somewhere. I think he is a TN fit way better than an AU fit. Great coach, wish we could hire him as a QB only coach but those days have well passed
