You can certainly make a case for it. With that barfbag offense, an average defense would be giving up 40 a game.

Maybe so, but their offense is one of the worst. Not an NC caliber team

That's exactly what I was thinking. Credit to a defense that held an offense that scored 59 points last week against a decent-to-good team to 12 points.

hard to say, I think it is even between LSU, Florida and Bama so far with South Carolina not too far behind.

Wasn't A&M the number 1 team in the nation in scoring?

And with LSU's offense giving it right back, it's like their defense is having to play a game and a half.

I'm beginning to agree with the OP
