Heckeled at my graduation (SEC related)

Thursday night was my graduation from Airman Leadership School, a major milestone in my Air Force career. We are at the base club, 300 people in dress blues, with the 5th Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force Robert Gaylor as our guest speaker. As I was walking across the stage, shaking hands with the Brigadier General, and holding my diploma for a picture, an Auburn fan screams "LSU Sucks!". I didn't know just how bad people can be sometimes.
I guess the moral of the story is that there is no venue too classy for an Auburn fan to completely frick up. Do not trust them.
Felt it was necessary to share with the SECRanters.
BTW... I really don't hate Auburn fans, I am sure it was an isolated incident...

I work with the guy, but we are not friends by ANY means. Just seemed trashy. True story, half-arse flame. I honestly don't know if trashiness is a true value for the majority of their fanbase though.

That sucks that that happened to you. There's a time and place for everything. I'm a diehard fan, but I know that most situations don't call for me to be an arse.

That makes it easy then. Saunter up to him smiling, very friendly like, hand on his back, and say "Not nearly as good as your mother/sister/wife does. I'll be seeing her again on my next leave" Then pat him hard on the back, extra hard, smiling. Be sure to do this when people are around. Immediately walk off, not allowing time for a response.
