If nobody cares about the Alabama-Tennessee rivalry...

why did ESPN put it on in primetime this weekend? Wouldn't it make more sense to choose the LSU-aTm matchup of top 20 teams? Why relegate such a great game to the dreaded 11:00 am Pam Ward slot if no one cares about the TSIO?

Cause teams/fans rather watch Alabama, than to see their own team.

they already put the tu/baylor game in their primetime abc slot. they didnt want to split the texas demographic

Bama has nothing to do with the rivalry being down, if it actually is. You can thank UT for being one of the worst teams the last 5 years for that.
