It will be interesting to see if he throws at banks or avoids him like everyone else.

Not sure that he will have to throw it. If TN rushed for 200 yards, Bama should not have more than 15 passing attempts against MSU.

I can guarantee that Saban will look at the LSU v A&M game tape to formulate his plan to defend the AGs. Am curious to see how Sumlin attacks LSU and how Les pressures Manziel. Kid makes some bad decisions but he is an athletic freak, fast, elusive like Dennard but a much better passer.

This. Bama has already game planned for Michigan, aTm is pretty similar.

You're smarter than this. You know damn well Bama will blanket their receivers and blitz like crazy to make UT beat them on the ground just like we did. The Bama game will be exactly the opposite, we will stack the box and force AJ to win it with his arm.

Michigan and A&M are vastly different offenses. Manziel and Robinson are similar runners but Manziel is amuch better passer. Michigan is a pro style offense, A&M a spread. They attack defenses in very different ways.

You must keep both QBs in the pocket.

You're right, I was judging off of when we played them. I thought that they seemed similar but they have had changes from then to now. But yes my general point still stands, you had no trouble preparing for Denard you will be able to contain JFF just fine.

Wouldn't work this year anyhow, AJ throws well.

I could put up those stats of all my passes were thrown for 3 yards and then the rb runs for 40.

Lot of football left to be played but A.J. is ahead of schedule. He is not the same QB that started the Kent State game last year with 2 ints. No player in CFB has improved more than McCannon.

Holy shite. While he has improved ,this ignorant.

Yeah like the ones McCarron threw over the Honey Badger in the NC game.

A. J. is 19-1 as a starter. He has not thrown an interception since November of 2011. He has 12 TDs and no ints in 2012. He has the 5th highest passing efficiency rating in CFB at 171.88.

He has the most grotesque chest tattoo in America. And in his spare time, he autographs titties.

A.J. McCannon is one bad MF.

Damn dude. You're sickening enough to almost have ME wanting McCarron to get knocked out. Yeah, so McCarron is pretty good. He probably ranks in the top 25% of college QBs and is among the top 5 SEC QBs. But Alabama could win 80% of their games with Saban playing QB, so get over it.

If he wins it then it will be a bigger joke than Gino Torretta. IMO

The point of the post was to show the haters that while McCannon started last season as a caretaker QB, he has matured into a valuable, productive offensive weapon. In addition, he has a little swag that is not normally associated with former Bama Bangs QBs.

Bama uses pressure to affect the QB. They use multiple alignments, numerous coverages and multiple packages to keep the QB off balance.

TN will not have over 125 yards rushing. Bama is averaging giving up 50 yards per game on the ground.

Bama wants teams to throw 30-40 times a game. Bama is also averaging giving up about 125 yards a game thru the air.

Good luck with your stratagy to make A.J. beat you thru the air. LSU tried it in the BCSCG, only lost 21-0. LSU defense >>> MSU defense
