Postings about the flagship program in the state of Texas need to be kept to the MSB or TexAgs.

Tamu is still letting Texas run their minds. I love it. They know they're owned.

Do you know why ESPN did this?

To help protect the ratings of the Texas-Baylor game airing at 7 central on ABC. A game that, you guessed it, no casual fan in Texas would be watching if LSU at Texas A&M was airing at the exact same time. In fact, the only hope for ratings numbers on Baylor at Texas is the state of Texas watching. If even the state of Texas won't watch this game, who else is going to watch?

No one.

Yep, Texas Longhorn protectionism by ESPN screwed A&M and LSU fans out of a night game.

Meh. Just more of the same. We've dealt with it for a century. Just more BOMC (burnt orange media conspiracy, for those who are unfamiliar with this common phrase in B12 vernacular).

Sucks big time. LSU @ Kyle Field at night would've been sick--the stuff about which Aeschylus and Euripides wrote.

Onward. We'll ink it at night in the future.

Espn pays billions of dollars for the right to show these games. They can do whatever the heck they want to maximize ratings. This move is pretty smart.

This stuff is better received with the rest of the conspiracy theorists on TexAgs.. Kind of embarrassing to have a thread started here just for this.

That being said.. who the frick wants to see Alabama have their way with Tennessee outside of those two fan bases? This 'pageantry filled' rivalry can take a prime time spot when it's actually going to be a good game.. and it may be a while for Tenn to stand back up to relevance.
