You have just proven your stupidity, stop posting.
I'll stop posting about the issue when you find me a direct quote from a defensive coach that says his strategy is to allow teams to move the ball from 20 to 20 with the hope that they'll make a mistake.

Why are you asking? You clearly don't want the truth... but are just making up your own version to troll with.
We played 61 players against Troy and 64 against South Alabama. We have 81 players on scholarship right now. 16 of those players are redshirting, 1 was suspended(PJ Jones), and one held out for precaution/injury(Tobias Smith). So, we had 63 total scholarship players available. You tell me if we played alot of young players, even including at least one walk on. LINK
This is the reality of our "bend-don't-break" in numbers, since you call it a myth. Included are all games under current DC Chris Wilson. Explain why, over 19 games now, our scoring D is so much better than everything else? Ah yes, turnover margin, aka the "luck"... well, we were +0 in that regard in all 13 games last year. What gives?
2011 Scoring D - 16th Pass D - 27th Rush D - 61st Total D - 35th
2012 to date Scoring D - 16th Pass D - 23rd Rush D - 50th Total D - 25th Turnover Margin - 2nd
Oh ok. Now I get it. You guys are sucking at defense on purpose.

16th in scoring D is sucking? GTFO
In our SEC games where we played the starters for the majority of the game the most yds. we allowed was 360 and that was to Tenn. which has a high powered offense. We have allowed only 55 points in those 3 games, good for 3rd in the SEC.
We have allowed only 98 points in all of our games, which is tied with LSU and right behind Fl. and USCe. Our D has been significantly better than everyone else's in the SEC and is right there with the best of them except for Alabama.

And you still have not played a team that has sniffed the Top 25. Congrats

Tennessee was ranked at a couple points in the season... before the Florida game and I think they hit 25 after they beat Akron before losing to UGA.

So again, after TN played an actual TEAM...they are now nowhere ranked near the Top 25. Wasn't Arkansas ranked in the Top 25 at one point too? Man, early season rankings are great

So your claim to fame right now is beating a team that was ranked at one point? Awesome. Congrats. Print the t-shirts, etc.

What does the quality of Tennessee's defense have to do with how good the offense was? That's essentially what your "ranking smack" implies.
Tennessee is the #24 scoring offense and #22 pass offense in the country which is what we are discussing, both of which were ranked much higher before their trip to Starkville. No one will even come close to shutting their pass game down to the extent that we did the rest of the season.

In the 15 years that the BCS has been in place, Ole Miss has never spent a single week ranked as highly as State is right now. Deal with it.

Well, the intent of the post was to prove that we have beaten a team that sniffed the top 25.
You're reading too much into it.

Since you're now making your claim on currently ranked teams none of Alabamas are either.

I'm here. State is not playing well. They have no fire. Bama is dominating no question. State finally looked like it tightened up its defense in the last few series of the half with some consecutive three and outs. But they definitely have to have some offensive spark in the second half. I give all credit to Bama thus far. Doing everything they want.

What an epic prediction.
