So saying Bama could possibly lose to an as yet undefeated team is going full rantard? You fricking Gumps.

Most welcoming. Always offered a smile and a conversation after games in Starkville, and offer of a beer many times. Great fans.

We do match up well with Bama. Always have for the most part. We play a physical style just as they do. The difference is usually a couple of busted plays late in the 2nd half. Our DB's will be able to go 1 on 1 with their wideouts. Thus being able to load the box. Don't see Bama scoring 38 pts like the BlackBear fan said.

State fan here:

I have watched every game the last few years and the only team that has dominated them physically is 'Bama. I just can't see them winning. A possible close game but the run "D" of State bothers me. I cannot see a win for State. I guess anything is possible and I will be watching.

They will be a lot for LSU to handle as well. But with LSU having offensive difficulties I don't think any game will be overlooked or unexpected this year. Bama can't say the same as of yet.

I, for one, have never experienced this and almost all State fans I know are obnoxious and have no respect for anything. Agreed there are some good ones... I say 35%... But majority, at least in my experience, are bad

They are obnoxious with Ole Miss because it's an in-state rivalry and they've beaten you soundly recently. This year could be a great game.

I would say the same about ole miss fans, I find the grove the least welcoming place in the SEC. We are in state rivals and have to literally deal with someone of the opposite team every single day. It's how rivalries work and it will always be that way. I am sure that Ole Miss is a great atmosphere and welcoming fan base for many others but it never will be for state fans, and the opposite is just as true.

Nice gesture and I think both Miss State and Ole Miss have played good football this year. But you are expecting them to go on the road in BDS with a offense that relies on a lot of communication and checks. You are also expecting them to play on the road with minimum mistakes offensively or defensively against one of the most sound teams in the country.

State is playing well, and they will knock of a bug boy, you just got the wrong one. State 31 LSU 17.

I agree. All the tangibles are with Bama. I am simply allowing for a gut feeling and the eye test. Bama is everyone's Goliath this year and from the way I've seen State fight into the fourth, them bringing a good game and making Bama question themselves is not out of the question even if it is unlikely.

With LSU's offensive identity this year and State's secondary it is highly possible.

Like last year, we'll keep it closer than anyone but LSU does. Won't win though.

State wont be able to keep it as close as OM. Lil bro syndrome starts in 2 weeks. Hope you have enjoyed playing sec teams that have 0 conference wins.

Nobody is beating Bama this year unless some major injuries start happening. And I loathe Bama.

Personally I would rather win the cupcake games as opposed to losing them. Have fun blowing all this smoke while you still can, your biggest 2 moral victories gave up a combined 120 points yesterday.
