Russell Wilson? Think the Seahawks would give Bama a run for their money

State wins on a last second 50 yd field goal by Devon Bell. I have nothing to back up this reasoning except that I dreamed this happened last night.

yep- we'll probably lose by 10 in a hard-hitting good game

I'm not flaming. I'm simply stating that IMO State will have the best opportunity to come out of Bryant Denny with a win. I have said the team has been dominant and they well could roll State, but I have a feeling it will be a hard fought game-which the Tide is not used to this season.

Yeah, in all honesty, Miss St would probably need a Tyler - Russell - Wilson hybrid against Alabama's defense.

I'm actually fairly confident in our passing game being able to move the ball against Bama. We'll have trouble running the ball.

It will be an interesting game, defensively we'll have to stack the box to contain the run and make Mccarron beat us, and pray our secondary lives up to its hype.

Maybe if it was in Starkville, but I have a hard time imagining them coming into Tuscaloosa and winning. They're good, but it's at home, we're more talented, and we won't be taking them lightly (at least I would hope not).

Something like 24-10 or so wouldn't surprise me.

I think Miss St will do enough on offense with Russell and play tough enough on defense to have a chance if things go haywire in terms of turnovers for Alabama and they don't let Bama jump out in the first quarter.

Otherwise, I think it more likely that Miss St simply does enough to make it a respectable type 30-16 loss with Alabama having to work for it but pulling away in the second half.

This is why I think they have a shot. If they can keep up the fight and not allow Bama to control the game, I think they have the tools and heart to eek out a win.

Your confident they will bet Bama but assured they won't beat LSU?.....yeah no homerism there....MSU is more likely to beat LSU as its immediately after the Bama gme....especially if Bama knocks LSU's wheels off

It will be the best chance anyone has and I have been saying that all season. Bama will win but I'm thinking 24-21 heartbreaker. I could buy into 28-24 also.

30-16 Bama win sounds about dead on to me. If we can pull off a 28-27 nail biter, I'll shite my pants.

I can't imagine the amount of retard that will course through my body if Corso picks us to win (obviously this game gets gameday). I'm talking simple jack full retard.

State is definitely capable of beating LSU, just look at last year's game. Who said they weren't? LSU doesn't play State until the week after Bama, so besides being at Tiger Stadium, they're going to be a little banged up for us as well.
