Two years ago he won a championship with one of the most dominant college QB's to play in a long time. Outside of that, he has a career track record of not being that good.

Semantics. Point is he's a national champ coach, Cam or no Cam. Why else is he being paid so much?

AU had every opportunity to win that game today. Poor offensive playcalling and no discipline on defense. I don't see how Chizik survives this nightmare. I wouldnt care what the buyout is. You guys found the money for Cam. It would be wise make some calls, pass around the collection plate, and put Chiz out of his misery.

One of the very few teams that won a NC despite having their head coach. Think Miami and Larry Coker.

Actually several teams picked apart State's recruiting class that year. No one from Auburn recruited Cam. His arrival there was arranged.

Actually, you have no idea what you're talking about. Luper and Gus were actively recruiting Cam and went to at least one of his games in Blount. Cool conspiracy theory, though.
