Over the years we have learned that Spurrier circles 2 games on the calendar for himself. Those games are Georgia and Florida. He lives those 2 games. He reaches his emotional highs and lows based on the results of those Saturdays.

He also personally prepares the team for those 2 games. It has shown in our play over and over. He expects the team leaders and assistant coaches to handle their business every other week of the season and concentrates solely on his QB. The Kentucky game this year was just one more bit of evidence.

The only thing Spurrier loves more than beating Georgia and Florida is an SEC Championship. Something we have not been in position to come close to until this season. Yeah I know we won the East but look how that turned out. Will he focus on motivating this team to play at a high level this week in hopes of getting to Atlanta? We will see on Saturday.

The last time Spurrier took a team to LSU, it was a close game. The difference in SC winning or losing that game came down to two plays.

1 - When Jasper Brinkley was knocked-out of the game, and lost for the season, with a knee injury.

2 - That flip over the shoulder trick play on 4th and short when LSU lined-up for a FG and caught SC off guard. One of the most beautifully executed trick plays I have ever seen.

Different sort of team Spurrier is taking with him to LSU this time around. This team is not a one star, one stud, football team. This team is loaded with talent and leaders.

It's still too close to call, but Spurrier has an Eastern Division title on his mind right now and, after what happened last year, the players know how important each and every game is on the schedule.

First off...your title sucks...

Second...SC has a different look this year. I personally think they are for real and if they get through the next two...I think they run the table...and take the SEC crown...

Well, we all saw which South Carolina showed up last week. What a goatfrick.

Now watch as the Gamecocks come out on fire in the Swamp.

Whatever it is that dwells deep within Spurrier's soul, will be on full display tomorrow.
