... in the Coaches Hot Seat Ranking.

Now at #3...

Seriously... someone, please confirm for me that there is no way that this guy is back next year. Isn't it obvious that he isn't helping AU?

I posted my thoughts in another thread, but I think enough progress on defense plus Chizik's buyout will give him another year.

Quite obviously, Lefty will be job hunting after the Alabama game. I think in this situation that Jacobs will likely take reigns on hiring the offensive coordinator. We'll likely clean house on that side of the ball and let the new guy bring in coaches he thinks will work best.

Just my best guess.

What would be the point in keeping him? We've already established that we want coaches, not recruiters. Send his arse packing.

I disagree. The gaping hole in this staff is player development and Trooper just doesn't bring that to the table. I think there is an argument that Luper has developed our RBs enough to keep his job, but I think Jacobs takes over the OC hiring process and allows the new guy to bring in the coaches he wants.

Yeah, thats a brilliant idea...maybe we can get Tim Jackson to scout the potential candidates.

I thought it was pretty easy to decipher. Jacobs is a horrible AD...the idea that he's going to go out and hire our next OC is laughable. I'd actually love to see it.

Don't worry, I'll lead you to the light. Jacobs may be a horrible AD, he's not actually as dumb as we like to portray him. If he feels like his job is in jeopardy he'll "help" Chizik make some decisions on the offensive side of the ball. It's in his best interest that he does so, and therefor, I believe he will.

I would put Chizik ahead of Dooley at #2. The bad part is Chiz will be #1 next year after Spaz gets fired and Chiz is still our HC.

There is no way Jacobs "helping" can be a good thing. To put it nicely, his hires have been effin piles of shite.

I do not think GC will be fired at the end of the year. I can think of plenty of reason why he should (and I believe it is in the best interest of the program to bring in someone new) but that buyout is just too high (another Jacobs shite move).

I don't know how I feel about starting over on offense. I can see Lefty being fired, just doubt we let probably our three best recruiters (Grimes, Trooper and Luper) go without so much as a second thought.

I personally think the best move for Auburn at this point is to move away from Trooper. He is a recruiting machine but he is a pitiful receivers coach and I think he does a lot that undermines the team.

I am not a fan of how things are turning out and think things need to change but I don't remember anyone complaining about raising his buyout during the time as well as no one thought Chizik was on his way out at the beginning of the year. Blindsided just about everyone

Chiz's buy out is too big to kick him to the curb this season. I also think he needs to land the recruiting class he has working. I do think Loeffler needs to go.

BVG should be ok, but the OC, I think needs to be fired. This shite isnt working. I also think that we need to start getting Wallace ready to play more and more.

Frazier needs to become a Kodi Burns. Moseley needs to hold a clipboard then ride off into the sunset.

What do you mean should be? Unless we clean house of course he would still be here. The defense is light years ahead of where its been the past couple of years.

The only thing Jacobs should be doing in the AD's office is handing out shakers at games.
