We should fire Richt right? Who replaces him?

I'm on the fence about canning Richt mostly because who could we get that's better?

Tennessee has been in a tail spin since Kiffin.

So do we take a chance at sucking regularly or do we keep Richt and wait?

If Chan Gailey gets fired from the Bills, I say we take a chance on him.

There are search committees out there who know the coaches and have a list of who they would leave their current job for. McGarity could hire one of these firms and find out who would be available before the firing is ever done. And if he doesn't like the list he could just wait another year and keep the options open.

Kelly from Oregon comes to mind, IF and that's a big IF, Richt retires or gets the boot. His offense, coupled with an sec defense, would be national championship worthy most every year. I actually think he would fit in good also.

As for Chan Gailey, why would we want him? He got axed by never winning at Tech

If he's good enough to be an NFL coach, he's good enough for us!

Fundamental flaw in your thinking. "WE" don't fire Richt. McGarity, under the watchful eye of the political powers of the State of Georgia fire the Head Coach at UGA. "OUR" opinion does not matter. If it did, he would have been gone years ago.

I choose to support the dude because he is our coach. I choose to enjoy being a fan instead of whining and griping all of the time. These are choices I can make and nobody else can change them.

Go Dawgs!

Ah, the tired old, sniff, sniff, "who could we get to come to poor little ole Georgia" disney deflection rears its mangy head. Boo hoo, we couldn't even get an all white dog, sob, sob.

Give me a frickin break. Fire the mo fo, let McGarity do his job and we will be fine. So what if we go through a couple of coaches? It is not like the mo fo's won't be set for life.

The disneys act like the sky will fall if St Richt is fired. The sky will only fall if you don't keep the coach on a short lease. No more 10 year, automatic rollover contracts. Win within the rules or gtfo, not tomorrow or the next day, but right now.

Agree with your post Runningdog. Win within the rules is the key thing. Our rules should be set-up the same as Bama, Lsu, Florida, Scar, Tenn. None of these punish drug offenses on the first offense, but yet we do. If the four players we had suspended were playing for those programs they would have never missed a game. I am tired of playing with different rules. When was the last time you heard of and Alabama player being suspended for drug, you haven't and you never will as long as Saban is there. Our suspensions continually hamper of chemistry and contribute to a different team being on the field every week.

Hey there, Fun-Bobby. Please do go on about your zen-like approach to life that you've been practicing since last Tuesday. I'm dying to hear more sage advice.

Snoozer.
