this is my last grasp for air on this team. all year I kept thinking we just weren't getting up for games and played down to the competition. now, if this loss didnt wake us up, nothing will.

South Carolina is notorious for these letdown games. Remember, they beat Alabama in 2010 and then lost to Kentucky the following week.

My initial thought was LSU would bounce back (still have a good defense, Saturday night in Death Valley, backs against the wall, etc., etc.), but Clowney versus LSU's left tackle (or USCe's entire D-Line against LSU's O-Line) combined with Mettenberger's almost absurd lack of any sort of pocket presence doesn't seem like a good thing for them.
I don't think USCe will move the ball that well though.
