He is good. I doubt he takes a position in the south but he will be successful at some BCS school very soon. He's done an unreal job at Utah St. They are a ton of fun to watch if you get the chance.

It's probably not a good sign that my first thought, when reading the thread title, was plane tracker.

If that's true, then I say forget Gruden. $5.5 for an unproven college football coach is just insane.

It concerns me that the reason he didn't like college coaching as much as NFL is bc he didn't like recruiting. You have to be a passionate recruiter to win a championship at Arkansas. Did 18 year olds these days even watch the NFL when Gruden was coaching? I don't think his name alone will pull recruits these days, although I know his super bowl ring will be a nice thing to flash to them.

frick that. Spend $4m on a head coach and use a $1m for a top flight DC or OC.

Gruden would have a top 10 class here every year. He wouldn't have to do shite but show up and offer. It would be an embarrassment of riches the likes we've never seen on the Hill. Too bad it's a pipedream

recruiting and defense. we NEED those two things. If mother fricking VANDY and Miss State can do it, we can. anyone who says otherwise is full of shite. Yes, a lot of natural defensive talent grows in miss, but those kids could just as easily go to AU or Bama, etc.. and they CHOOSE these schools.

why am I still in pissed off mode???? No one else is it seems. Time for me to move onto don't give a frick.
