Why is UGA so cocky after beating Vandy?

I think they have a good team this year, but they all act like they just beat 2001 Miami or 71 Nebraska. No flame, I just don't understand why last week they had nothing to say, but now they are invincible after beating Vanderbilt.

I was just glad to see us play hard all 4 quarters.

I think you see the result of fans over reacting because we are excecuting on all cylinders and our offense is really clicking. Also going forward we get 2 All-American type players back on D. The Vandy thing- I think is because I have seen some UGA fans are using the transitive property of football. Last night I heard-"this is the team that held Carolina to 17 points? we are going to kill em." It is what it is, but guys like myself know all too well how long an SEC season can be. Long way to go!

Because many GA fans are consoling themselves in thinking that they will tear us a new one because we only scored 17pts against them as if that matters.

Link? I have said nothing of the sort. It's a long season, especially in the SEC where ANYTHING can happen on a Saturday night.
ETA: I wish our Homer fans would shut up with all the shite talk. We have played well but there are a LOT of games to go. Talk shite AFTER you've done it, not before.
