Its different than the previous videos. I'm not sure I like Musberger doing the voiceover.

I kind of miss the train pulling in the station, didn't see it in this one, there was no real build up. And a whole lotta SEC pandering at the end. Don't get me wrong, I still get a tear in my eye over the college I love, but its just not as good as previous years.

Previous versions:
2011
2011 has good voiceover. Has train, couple of clips of bonfire, historical band, Jackie.

2010
I like the end of the 2010 version, great hits. Has my beloved train.

I like the fan interviews but agree this one isn't the best.

Ok, call me crazy, but I actually really like this one.

Musburger's voice is just "cleaner" than Creager's for the voiceover.

The highlights were well spliced.

I'm glad we kept the "My Name is Lincoln" music.

The fan interviews were great, as were the crowd shots (seemed to be more of them than in previous years).

Didn't think the "Welcome home to the SEC" bit was over the top. Thought it was perfect, not overdone, and probably won't last past this season.

I DO miss that train, though--that's just iconic

NOT as good as previous years, but I got chills just the same, so it's up there for me!

In class, can't watch. Is the music the same? That's what makes it for me.

The "My Name is Lincoln" soundtrack is the same.

They omitted "The Contender" theme, though, which was sad for me (music makes it for me, too), but it worked in the context of the video.

One thing I don't like is they don't feature any current players in the video. Kind of strange.

This year there is a separate video with the contender theme

People love to hate on Musberger but he has a defining voice of college football, along with someone like Keith Jackson. Perfect for this IMO and I think it's awesome we got him to do this.

Awesome, glad they kept it in some way!

And I agree, Shane--Musburger gets ragged on a ton by Ags, but his voice is instantly recognizable and associated with CFB. Very cool that he did a specialized voiceover for us.

I like it. The background of wrecking crew when showing all of the defense stops is a nice touch. I wish they would have ended it with the hit though.
