We played an 11-3 Ga Tech team, 10-4 Houston team, 10-3 MTSU team on the road, and 7 SEC teams that went to bowls. Vandy was the only team we played all year that didn't have a winning record.

So a C-USA, and Sun belt are on par with a Michigan team that Bama played? Or a Texas team that Ole Miss played. Ok, Ga. Tech, that was a good game. You got me.

I heard the same shite last year. I didnt think it was possible, but your defense actually got worse.
You are not going to win an SEC game

Texas is on a whole other level when it comes to psychical talent - maybe MSU would win 1 out of 5 times.

This is just reactionary based on one week of a season. Explain how you know Texas is "that good" and you are not just "that bad"?

Excellent chance all this Texas love looks foolish over the next 3 weekends...

Coonass. Y'all beat Jackson State, beat a terrible Auburn team and struggled to beat Troy. What in the hell makes you think y'all would fair any better against Texas?

I'm not saying State is a bad team. They're just not near as good as you think they are.

Is this an act, or are you just drunk?

You're saying we absolutely couldn't win a decent OOC game unless we play them in bowls?

No, I'm saying for you to say that you "basically" would have the same record, if you would have scheduled a good OOC opponent compared to the cupcake teams you're playing, is ridiculous. Could you win them, of course. But to say you'd have the same record playing good competition, as opposed to the cupcakes is just idiotic.

I was actually surprised with OM in the Texas game. The offense had a little spark that I hadn't seen in a while. Defense was terrible, but there are a couple of other SEC schools with no D too...

It is just one game.

Us getting pwned by Texas doesn't automatically predetermine the rest of our season. Odds are we aren't going to be the same team in November. We won't be playing teams like Texas every week.

What your team is the previous week isn't the only indicator or future successes or failures.

Again, tunnel vision.

I said "a few," as in, 1 per year every year or two, like everyone else. Let's say we only win half. Do our overall record change much? Nope.

Thank you. Every SEC school has acknowledged this but State fans like Coonass refuse to believe we have gotten any better.

And we stayed home in bowl season because of it, after going 3-5 in the SEC. Ignorant scheduling.

Giving us extra bowl practices in 09 allowing us to get Relf ready, get our freshmen DB's alot more experience, get our receivers more work, etc...could have easily had an effect on the outcome of our 17-14 Auburn loss in week 2 in 2010. Not saying it WOULD have, but it is possible.

beat a terrible Auburn tean

No, we made Auburn look terrible because we were that much better.

In their other two games, Auburn has scored and moved the ball, nearly beat a top 15 team, and won over a team that beat UPig the week before.

Auburn is better than people think- they average 400 yards/game when they dont have to play State. They will gash you guys for 450-500 yards when they play you

So the first time you beat Auburn this decade and they are good because they beat ULM last week?

How do you know this? Tell us, just how good is State? How good do we think they are?

You are "saving" Coonass statements, then turning around and making the exact same type of statements.

You gave up more points than you have in 40 years- and it should have been higher than 66.

That's not better

I saved the comment saying we're going 0-8. Coonass thinks State is going to win 11 games (including a bowl win). That's just crazy to me.

I said Auburn was better than people think.

State is the only team to make them look awful. ULM is better than Mississippi and having a good year.

Don't flatter yourself. They've played three games. Give it time.

I said we were going to go 10-2. I've seen nothing so far this season to change that. Hell, I feel better about it now than I did a month ago after watching Arkansas play.
