Were you with Burke and I when the police helicopter flew over?

I was in the water when the helicopter flew over. Luckily there was a flipped car in the road right before the parking lot that kept the cops attention.

How old are you guys? I was at Bama in the 90's and never had a problem with the pigs out at the cliffs. Used to go out there, get blazed, and stay all day. Saved a redneck's life out there one day. Idiot was in blue jeans, wasn't a good swimmer, and jumped off the highest part.

I was there from 04-09. I think Funky was there a year or two later than me. They started cracking down towards the end of my Tuscaloosa stay.

Yeah, i am still here, but was in school from 06-12(was very part time towards the last two years, didnt want to take out a bunch of student loans). Like I said, I never had a problem, but I know people did run into them out there.

I did, but I then moved back to t-town last week. The lake, while nice and relaxing, and incredibly awesome at times, was just too boring for me.

Ya, I bet. Can't be too great for careers either.

You have any desire to move to a city? Go join the crew in Nola?

07-10 yeah it was pretty much known you would get busted going there, as with the old hospital in the middle of nowhere that people call "Old Bryce" (not to be confused with the actual Bryce hospital that is now part of UA's campus)

Cypress Inn. Great smoked chicken and some of the best grits I've ever had - blue cheese.

Benkei closed but was the best Japanese food I've had. I could drink the shrimp sauce.

Has anyone been to the Globe since it has reopened downtown? I worked as the chef at night there with the owner Jeff while I was finishing up school in 92-95. Really loved working there and always liked the food we cooked and how Jeff let me help create specials for dinner and the variety of foods we cooked.

I still cook a lot the same dishes for my family even though I changed professions I still have a love for cooking.

My wife and I are making our first trip to Tuscaloosa this weekend. We're staying in Bessemer and will drive in Saturday around Noon. I'm trying to decide where to park. How is the walk if we park in the $20 lot by the soccer field? Is there a neighborhood that I'll have better luck with for $20 or $30 and have a shorter walk?

I'm planning on doing the Bryant museum and I'd like to walk by Foster auditorium also. Planning on doing Dreamland for lunch. Pretty excited about the trip... Except for the arse kicking that's going to be inflicted on us. Thanks for any info you guys can give.

They will run buses to and from the soccer lots to the Quad. Don't do Dreamland though, especially on a gameday.
