This is true. Gameday Tuscaloosa entertainment is always a little different than non gameday Tuscaloosa.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you. The Strip is sooo inconvenient. Yeah, its fun and what not, but there is nowhere to park. Downtown at least has the parking deck. I mean I love the strip, mostly because of the Houndstooth but I have to go down there early every time just so I can find a place where I won't get towed.

Well yeah but I still think other than the Houndstooth I would rather be downtown.

ETA:**FYI, do NOT park your car there past 10, or UAPD will come and find you. Apparently the park closes at night, and UAPD came about two minutes after me and the ex got done.

One that I always wanted to try, but never had the guts to do was the bushes at Denny Chimes. Since they're a square with a hole in the middle it's suppose to be a great spot.

Yeah and has screwed up thing royally IMO. I know this will sound stupid but Tuscaloosa needs another parking deck other than the one downtown.

Not at all.
TTown and UA need a few more parking garages. I've lost years off my life trying to get parking spots and having to duck and dodge the parking police. I know I'm not the only one on here who has lost hundreds of dollars to Ua for parking

As a student in 2007, I owed/paid over $400 in parking tickets and fees.

Well I've never had to pay for parking because I know people that let me park close by but I've hit up River Road once or twice in the past being late and it comes through in the clutch. The thing is I parked at municipal park downtown for Ole Miss and even it was packed. You'd think with the new federal building they'd go ahead and do another parking deck. And no offense to people with RVs (because it is a great place for them and I would do the same if I had a RV.) but they could put one at the old Chevy lot, which would help out on gamedays and concerts.

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but Glory Bound is the new hot place to grab lunch in town. Good gyros. If you get the fries, it's worth the extra buck to add cheese and bacon.

Where is Glory Bound located? Graduated in '10 and dont remember Glory Bound being open.
