I used to live in Arkansas and all of my friends from there seem to think that Jon Gruden is going to be the next head coach there. They even have a Facebook page about it. Is there a reason why they all think this or is it just wishful thinking for them?

That's what I was thinking. One of my friends posted a status sayin the next razorback head coach is commentating on MNF right now, he went on to claim that Gruden was in Fayetteville this morning.

Agreed. The same people who had sources saying Gruden was a done deal in the spring are the people who are saying it now. Just more people are willing to listen.

I personally would be incredibly surprised if Gruden ever comes to the college game at all, even more so if that happens to be at Arkansas.

I'm betting we hire a coach with serious Texas ties that runs a more balanced system and will bring in an entire set of assistants after clearing house of all but one or two. No specifics just generalities.

You wanna have fun? Go over to tardville and post that you have on reliable source that Gruden is studying tape so he can come in and coach the LSU game. That'll be good for 10 pages - easy.

That is a delusional thought. There is a colelge job he would take possibly and it is in Knoxville Tennessee. Gruden to Arkansas is hilarious.

Gruden doesn't know Arkansas is a state.
