Seems like the October 6th hype is starting early. Does CBS choose LSU/UF 2v14 or Georgia/SC 5 v 7?

They will have Mizzou v USCe this week and most likey Tenn/georgia the following. Would they want the 3rd week to be SC-Georia or take LSU for the first time this year. I think 50-50. Id like to hear from someone who knows more than me.

Normally Id say no doubt but why would CBS pass on 5 v 7. Winner in drivers seat for SEC East. This also could start a run on 3 straight CBS LSU games. Which i know happened last year too. I guess they would have to ask themselves who will get the bigger rating number.

Bigger ratings number for LSU/UF. There is a reason why CBS always takes this game. $$$

I think we can all count on LSU/UF being a 2:30 CST CBS lock.

How would it be a good game, we pushed your shite in last season, have a rediculous stable of running backs, and now a decent quarterback

Yeah, and Brantley was out and Brissett, a true freshman was starting for UF.

Granted, I still think LSU wins comfortably even with Brantley playing, but UF wouldn't have looked THAT inept, especially in the 1st half.

Brantley going down against Bama really screwed UF up mentally last season.

If CBS chooses LSU, Gameday has to be a lock at UGA/USCe if it's on ESPN at night.

Does CBS still get to do a double-header one week? If so, this might be the week they take it. If they do, my guess would be they would put USC/UGA in the night slot so they have a top ten matchup in primetime.

Just listening to the Auburn fans around here today, I have heard 900 gameplans how they could keep it close with LSU and pull off the upset. I have heard that 2 plays in the first 2 games were just a little diffrent Auburn would be 3-0 right now. The one point that all 900 diffrent game plans have in common is the Les is due to screw one up.

It's 3 games in and I still haven't figured out what Auburn's most menacing threat is yet.
