Since it's dead as a doornail.

-in all 3 games we've made great halftime adjustments, which is fine. But when are we gonna STOP THE DAMN SLANT!? mizzou and fau especially had reasonable success throwing 7 yard slants on us for 30 minutes, it's maddening.
-Murray looked really great. That pick was boneheaded but he finally put together a full game.
-marshall finally showed some flashes. That cutback on the one run was beautiful.
-lemay is scary. I hope Murray doesn't get hurt.
-jsw looked insanely fast on that one play, I wouldn't mind seeing him get a screen or two in a big game
-gurley continues to impress. He should get around 17-20 carries a game.
-vasser really played well in his return. I certainly hope Jarvis is back next week, but chase didn't look rusty at all.
-this might be the best receiving group we've had in a while. Of course there's no AJ but king, brown, Conley, Bennett, and wooten are all very good and each bring something to the table.
-I'm glad lynch had a big day. Hopefully we can use him more as he gets more comfortable.
-I think/hope we didn't really show too much considering the opponent, and hope we also show as little as possible next week. We're much better than vandy. Stock up and beat the hell out of Tennessee.

Bobo has gotten a lot of deserved flak in his career but this year he's been lights out. Good playcalling, good substitutions, etc.

i wouldn't go that far. i think he's left some areas for improvement like how he uses the RBs, the resurgence of the famed 3rd down draw, and etc. think he's done better but i'd trade up in a new york minute for a newer model.

ETA: but like i said in the recruiting thread last night was one of his finest moments in athens along with murray

From what I read Murray checked into that 3rd down draw with Boo at Missouri. Yeah it worked, but still. I'd love to know our stats for 3rd and long since Bobo has been OC.

Am I correct in that we will get everyone back on D after Vandy? Full strength for UT and the rest of the schedule?

Yeah we should be good to go.

Lemay needs to tighten up. I agree that if Murray gets hurt, we're in for some trouble.

It sucks but if it's a vital game or he's out for a real chunk of time we just have to burn Hutsons RS. Sucks but no way LeMay has it in him right now and honestly I'm thinking he's always gonna be the bridesmaid

LeMay

He's done. As long as he stays happy until signing day, we get his brother.

But my guess is that he will never complete a pass to him.

i agree and i have always liked LeMay but i have always thought Hutson would be our next guy and LeMay would never really beat him out and then struggle to beat out ramsey. hope i am wrong because i'd rather keep playing upperclassmen right into ramsey and he'd have some time. no more baptism by fire

This is absolutely driving me nuts as well.

This falls into the ILB's coverage set right?

True. I don't think (non-UGA) people realize how much tree means to our defense. He may not be our absolute BEST player on D (hard to argue against Jarvis there) but IMO he's the heart and soul of it. When we get tree and rambo back I really don't see many teams being able to move on us a lot, much less score.

As long as they don't come out looking rusty like Commings did...

This.

What scares me about TN game is Tree & Rambo will be playing their first games. Can't afford the big plays like FAU, especially because we didn't line up properly.

The TD run up the middle was a prime example of it. Had 3 guys lined up on 2 WR on that play. Looked like a damn pee wee team lining up at times.

Rambo is a 3 year starter and is in his 3rd year of the system...he's also been practicing this whole time. I'm not worried about him or Tree lining up out of position. Commings is a corner who cross-trains at Safety for emergencies, don't think you see those mental mistakes from the other 2. They'll probably have to knock off a little rust, then again maybe they'll just have fresh legs...

Yeah I think Commings slow start is understandable. On the other hand Vasser looked like he hasn't missed a beat and played very well under the circumstances.

And as far as people being out of position, Tree being back will most likely help quell some of that.

I know they (FAU players) signed with FAU for a reason, but Artie's 20 yard stiff arm was
