Since I was called a liar & the previous thread deleted, I am posting this one with quotes from Arkansas media to redeem myself

quote:

@NWARobbie: Couldn't get phone to work in interview room. But a bizarre scene down there. Tyler Wilson marched in and accused some players of quitting.

quote:

@cbahn: Tyler Wilson: "sucks I can't be out there to do anything about it. ... Do I feel we gave up? Absolutely." https://t.co/ZagcZhd7

quote:

@TomMurphyADG: Tyler Wilson turned to Ark media relations guys with about a minute left in the game to say he needed to deliver a message, so he spoke ...

quote:

@TomMurphyADG: ... in the postgame. Wilson said some of his teammates gave up, and he said it with a very stern look on his face.

He's not wrong. They came out playing hard but the TD drive to start the second half was just absurdly easy.

lol sorry about your first thread... I don't know if it was my comment that led to its deletion, but if it was, thank you, Ice.

Now that it has been confirmed, we can discuss..

I don't feel like any players gave up until the coaches obviously gave up. Down 17-0 in the 2nd quarter, there was potential for us to still make a game of it. It was obvious Brandon Allen was out of his league and that Mitchell would have given us the best chance to win, but they kept putting Allen out there with no success. When we kept doing the same thing and expecting different results, the players knew it was over but still had over a half of football to play against a physically dominating team, so then our will was broken and the flood gates opened.
