5 year old Bama fan with brain tumor

Little Mikey passed away today after a battle with a brain tumor. He was 5 years old and a huge Bama fan. Coach Saban and some of the players have called him and from what I read really helped him through some really tough times. Prayers sent to his family. I will never understand why things like this happen but just wanted to remind everyone to give your family an extra hug today because you just never know.

It's a shame that there are no remedies for such illnesses. Especially for a child.

While Football can be a huge cause of stress and fighting, it can bring so many good things. Glad that he saw his team do so well the past few years.

Very sad. Prayers sent to his family. I think it was a very nice gesture by Nick Saban and his players to reach out to the young guy and help by lifting his spirts. Shows that he really is a human being and has a heart. Something I never thought he had. Good job by him, but still I'm really sorry to hear about the familys loss. Sad, sad situation.
