and there's really no other wings option closer now that Buffalo Connection went out.

I like Island Wing Company a lot. But that's just me.

I thought BuffCon was overrated, too.

I never actually went to BuffCon. Island Wing Company is pretty good but the whole baked wing thing is kinda weird. I love their mac and cheese dishes

I'm used to baked wings...that's the only way my dad made them when I was growing up.

Yup. Added bonus.

Their Mango Habanero sauce is on point.

I took a handful of those Campus Cash books the first week of the semester. They have a couple of really good deals in there for IWC.

I've had the brisket burger and spicy funnel cake. The burger is better than the one Amsterdams serves. I enjoyed the spicy funnel cake...it had pickled shrimp so it's a little different. I've heard their version of shrimp and grits is pretty good, but I'm spoiled on that...had a bite, wasn't impressed.

Well if that is what she really wants, they aren't bad by any means. I've just had better, and can make better. They make a fried grit cake instead of traditional grits (I think making a grit cake is a cop-out for not knowing how to cook grits properly).

Chefs table was not what I expected, however we sat a regular table instead. Food was excellent. Was weird, didn't know, my wife and I knew the owners wife and a manager, so turned out for the better not having reservations placed correctly.

Tim Cook receives AU lifetime achievement award; Here is his speech at the UN:

What an awesome ambassador for AU to have, and this is definitely great media attention for a deep south institution of higher learning.
