Can't say I'm surprised it certainly looked like it from the student section, and Georgia was faking injuries to slow down the pace of the game. I'm not a fan of the new rule because players are taking advantage of it

Dave Matter ?@Dave_Matter
James Franklin's got a nasty bruise over left eye. Said Georgia player unhooked chinstrap and pulled off his helmet off in the pile

It's gonna happen a lot with the new rule. Saw it in a game last week.

Don't know if it happened but it will become commonplace until a personal foul is associated with the act.

No but when Franklin and co. were moving down the field at ease, and he has to come out of the game for a play it does screw up offensive pace not to mention thuggish

No they didn't I have watched the my DVR copy 3 times since I have gotten back. I cannot see one instance where Franklin got his helmet ripped off by a UGA player. Every time he lost his headgear it came off as a result of a hit. UGA's D just hits hard, it life. Franklin would do himself and his team a service by going down sooner and not taking so many hits; especially in this league.
