No flaming just asking..
I know wilson was knocked out and you guys lost a few other players, I didn't see much of the game I have to admit, but you still had KD right? What happened with him? Did JLS just get away from the run all together? Would have seemed like you just turn around and hand him the ball the rest of the game, or did they shut him down also?

He ran once for 20 yards and then they kept passing

Yes and this is what the vast majority of our fans were pissed about. With a freshman QB in the second half and the game rapidly deteriorating, we called pass plays on 22 of 31 plays. It made absolutely no sense at all. It was compounded by the fact that he was 6-20 with an interception, a fumble and a sack on those passing plays.
They should have been running the ball and working the play action to get his confidence up. I can't recall seeing a play action at all during the second half and that was a big staple of what Bobby liked to do.

How is this guy still on campus this morning?

People bitch about Les Miles having such a run heavy offense, but it keeps you from having to rely on the QB.
Play punishing D, and take care of the ball on O. It has been quite a potent formula.

The last half was like masturbating to a picture of Kathy Bates in About Schmidt

No clue. I was absolutely baffled by the whole thing. It was like we were trying to lose on purpose. Dennis Johnson was killing ULM in the first half on the ground and we completely went away from it.

He's still on campus because we have nobody on the staff who we have any confidence in, and nowhere else to go. Bobby severely fricked us.

So does anyone have KD's stat line by chance?
You have to have someone who would know that if wilson goes down then KD needs to become the focal point of the offense..

He wasn't great by any means. He is running very tentatively still which is why I wish we would have stuck with DJ.
Knile - 16 62 3.9 1 19
DJ - 7 50 7.1 0 12

I wasn't asking to bash his stats or anything, was more to see if they used him, which apparently they didn't, that dude should have 16 carries at least in the first half against ULM much less the whole game..

He had a whopping 6 carries in the second half and OT.

If we had the recruiting benefit of being situated south LA, that'd probably be a lot more feasible. Arkansas will never have the kinds of defenses you'll see at LSU or Bama.

If we just would have ran the ball starting midway through the 4th quarter we win.
