out of atm and mizzou, who will establish a sec rival first?
i can see atm and arky starting a pretty good one.

Arky already has a rival: Louisiana-Monroe.

They will establish a rivalry with the team they beat first I would assume or the team closest to them geographically. I say A&M with LSU.

I'm still not sure what constitutes a rivalry such that LSU fans are allowed to use the term.

I could see aTm and Arky building a rivalry. I'd like aTm and LSU to have a rivalry though. Could be a good one.

I don't think arky and a&m will be rivals. A&m will own arky. I can see LSU and A&M heating up though.

I personally think aTm will start contending with LSU/Bama in 6-7 years. They are already a decent team. They just need to add depth.
Arky falling off the national stage after the whole BMFP debacle will help too. The West is going to just get tougher.

You realize that in 100 years the two teams have played 67 times with Arky holding a 41-23-3 advantage, right?
That's a better win% than LSU has on A&M in 50 games.

True considering the number of Arkansas fans in southern Missouri and the location of Fayetteville close to Missouri. It'll be a good rivalry.

Okay, here is a little FREE football for dummies advice:
A&M now in SEC. Will recruit MUCH better in Texas now as a member of SEC. Hell, they are already a top 10 recruiting club in their first year as SEC. Texas A&M is in a great situation in Texas now. Many of those kids want to play in the premier conference in american, AND play for a Texas team.

As long as boom is at UF, i think an aTm UF rivalry would be entertaining.

A&M and LSU were a rivalry before one of the schools backed out. Now they can't back out anymore.
