Contenders vs. Pretenders and the SEC Refs

Black Helicopter theory for today: The SEC Refs will identify the teams that have the greatest potential to reach the BCS Championship Game, and call games in their favor.
Remember the phantom pass interference penalty in the LSU @ Auburn game a few years back? Remember the LSU interception by PP7 vs. Bama that was ruled out of bounds? I'm sure you can think of other examples where your team got hosed when playing against "a projected favorite" in conference.
If this theory holds true, look for these teams to get screwed this season in league play: Vanderbilt, Auburn, Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri and A&M
These teams will get favorable treatment from the officials: Alabama, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina

GP, I don't believe the Black Helicopter refs have made a determination as to which category to place the Gators in this season. Or Tennessee for that matter. It does look like your QB is getting more comfortable in his position though, and that's a positive sign.

Technically, we weren't eligible. You know, sanctions. Hell, as a Bama fan I KNOW you know.
We did BTHO the "South" reps though, 50-0 to end the season, and we did go up to Eugene and dominate Oregon for 3 quarters before hanging on to win at the end.
So there's that.

hard to blame the refs when lsu and bama have their boots on the opposing teams' throats by 4 or 5 TDs

I think that would say more about how good we are if it takes a favorable call for Alabama or LSU to beat us than it would say about the refs. They shouldn't need assistance to beat us by 2-3 scores minimum.
