Football Depression Mode Engaged

Frazier will not win an SEC game this year except maybe Ole Miss. It's time to give Moseley or Wallace a shot. I'm used to seeing teams lay an egg and bounce back, but we will not bounce back with Frazier at QB. He seems like a great kid, but he didn't show a single flash of being capable of being a SEC quarterback.

I didn't expect us to be world beaters this year, but I expected to see improvement at most positions. Our defense was solid in the first half, but it looked like they gave up in the second half. The secondary was terrible, and the LBers weren't much better. For the first time, I'm starting to question Gene Chizik. We have tons of talent, but they are not getting the job done. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but in my mind, he is officially on the hot seat. Last year, I didn't panic when we got blown out by teams like LSU, Bama, Georgia, or even Arkansas (don't get excited Arkansas fans...now that Petrino is gone, you aren't on the same level as the other teams mentioned), but getting blown out by a team like MSU is unacceptable. We lost by 18, but it could have been much worse.

Our o-line looks solid for being so young, and Prosch is awesome. With a half-way decent QB we could be a pretty good team, but I'm pretty sure we don't have anyone that can get the job done.
