What are you guys expecting/hoping to see? I for one want the defense to bring the intensity they have shown in fall camp to the game.

I thought offensively, minus the turnovers, that was the smoothest first game we have had in a long time. It was smoother than any game called by Bobby Petrino. I'm not saying Paul is better, but he isn't a soup sandwich either. Last year we couldn't run the ball against Mo St, and we struggled with it most of the year.

I don't want to see us try to run up the gut right into a run blitz. If they give us the pass then I want to see us take it and run that score up to 80.

If we take what the defense gives us we won't have to do anything special. If they run blitz a vanilla pass will torch their arse.

just hope the base D isn't give up 9 yards per slant pass again.

This

There's a 25% chance Paul Haynes is making the secondary give 10 yard cushions to make Saban gameplan wrong, so that our secondary can play aggressive vs. Bama

50% chance Haynes is playing with a cushion to eliminate big plays to benefit the team.

25% chance Haynes is playing with a cushion to eliminate big plays to pad his resume.

I want to see the O-line play better and I expected a lot more out of the D-line.

As long as the lines play consistently better then I am okay with the cushion in the secondary.

I'm not a fan of the bend but don't break defensive philosophy. I really wanted an aggressive defense. The defense looked really legit during portions of the fall scrimmages, but they can't bring that intensity to the game. It is kind of frustrating.

I want Knile to look like Knile, and ready for Bama.

Otherwise, we fricked.

Spread is 30.5, we won't cover. I want to see the D stop the run better and see Knile do work.

I expect a game similar to.our game in '10. I figure around 35-14. I'm really interested to see who we play at FB. Walker, Ollison, Linton or Voelzke?

a big part of that is O-line play

If the O-line can't create a hole to run through then the yards won't be there.

We all saw how many times Dennis Johnson and Tyler Wilson were hit in the backfield last year. The O-line needs to step it up considerably.

Walker in the first half, Linton in the second.

I know Morgan personally and he's going to be a great starting FB next year if Kiero doesn't redshirt or declare early.

I expect to see:

-1 clock malfunction
-1 guy to be escorted out of my section due to drunkness
-1 pair of titties
-2 beach balls in the crowd
-the wave twice
-a 21+ point hog win

There's no way we cover. I don't expect anything more than last week - we won't be showing our hand until next week.

I expect both O's to score more than 2010. We would've put many more points on the board if CBP hadn't been using the game like a scrimmage, repeatedly running into run blitzes. CPP said he would take what ulm gives us, so I don't expect the stubborn run game practice of 2 years ago. Ulm has the same qb, running the same O w/ 2 more year's experience, so I suspect they'll be better. I'm thinking we'll score high 40's/low50's & they'll score high teens/low 20's,

I'd really like to see Winston turn & find the ball this week.
