I didn't see any real weaknesses. McCarron is playing smart, the play calling is top notch, and the defense is still nasty. If a train inadvertently derailed and ran over Sabans dog, causing Saban to go into a deep dark depression which then made him quit coaching, I would be happy.

Mind blowing revelations here

Had a few blemishes in pass protection. Secondary showed youngness with some busted coverages. Dline didn't get the pressure needed on one long pass play. We had more than 3 penalties.

This was very unsettling. I was very disoriented.

I love that he will throw it away instead of taking a sack like McElroy did as a sr. He is a perfect fit for our offense.

He did take one sack doing that in the 2nd half. Waited way too long to dump it. Overall though, nice decision making by him.

No denying their a good team. But it's too early in the season to say their the best in the nation already. Remember in 2010 when they beat florida 31-6, and everyone thought they were the best. Well they lost to South Carolina the week afterwards. I think its going to be an interesting season, but there are still too many good games left for me to say that they are my favorite for #1 right now. I still hope LSU can pull it out against them in November.

I hated that game, don't ever bring it up again. thanks

What, The loss to USCe in 2010, why would we bring up you lost to USCe in 2010? I mean just cause you lost to USCe in 2010 doesn't mean you will win every game this year. Like you didn't win every game in 2010 when you lost to USCe.

Not sayin anything bad towards bama but most every time an upper tier team plays a big ten team this shite happens. The bama d had to shut down an offense that really was just a qb that ran well.Saban has no problem with that.Alabama is a great team and will go a long way this year but pounding on some big 10 trash is a little over rated

After watching a replay there were several opportunities that a had Michigan had a decent passing QB they really could have done much better in the game.
I think Bama looked solid, real solid; but there will definitely be some lapses in coverage that a team like Arkansas could really exploit.
As for the pass rush not being that great, I'm not sold yet that holding the line and slowly collapsing on Robinson wasn't the game plan. If you get uneven pass rush and Robinson get free to run, he can do some damage. I'll hold my judgement on that for a few games.
Hopefully the lapses in coverage get coached out before we play some teams with more competent passers.

I never get carried away after one game. There's too far to go, and half our defense is still wet behind the ears, no matter how talented.
That being said, there's blowing a team out, and then there's hitting them with 31 points before they realize the game has started. That was a massacre.

The only thing that bothered me was watching yeldon. He is special. Can't believe scout had him at #10 rb
He looks to be a more physical Noel Devine.

I was extremely impresses after watching the replay Sunday afternoon. All the mistakes I saw were coachable which is all you can ask for after game 1. As the old saying goes the most improvement happens between game 1
and 2.
and 2.

Maybe, but there were also lots of plays where, if not for Robinson's quickness in the pocket, he would've been sacked. He was able to avoid a lot of hits that slower better passing QBs would've had to take.

North Texas would smother Michigan.
