At all? It could be a hell of a match up/trap for the gumps.

After the last few years, i doubt Bama is very worried. Can't say i'd blame them either. They have our number.

it'll be a match up, but it's LSU who should be worried this year.

This may sound weird, but I'm more worried this year because we don't know what John L Smith will do. Saban had Petrino's number so I wasn't worried about him but I am a bit concerned this year. I know our D might blow some coverages but our offense should be able to put up some points.

Jax State put 14 on them before they even got the BBQ sauce on the ribs.

BP>JLS though.

JLS is a fruit. Maybe he will have that "rah rah" factor that Nutt had to get us up.

Bama's D this year against the Arky passing O of last year would have scarred the shite out of me.

However I'm not all the scarred of the Arky Wr this year.

Could we lose? sure. I wouldnt be all that shocked. But I'm predicting a 35-17 win for the tide.

I think it'll be a bama win, but it'll be a 4th quarter win. Something like 42-35.

I definitely agree but I'm just saying that Petrino was predictable and he couldn't beat Saban. It's all about match ups and John L might come up with a better scheme for Saban. I know that BP is a better coach than JLS but it helps some that Saban will not see JLS use much of the playbook before we meet.

I don't know what to expect yet. We've seen what Bama can do with gameplan 1 against a running QB - contain him, make him complete long passes. We have yet to see how gameplan 2 will work - go after the QB and try to put him on his arse before he has time to find an open receiver. Anxious to see how the pass rushers/blitzers do this year.

i understand! trust me! i think this could be saban's traditional annual blow-up game. If arky's O line can hold off the dogs long enough up front, it could be a shootout with the new gump DB's

Arkansas will be one of our toughest games of the year, so no way it's a "Trap" game. Our first SEC game, on the road against a top 10 team...with two weeks to prepare. We will be ready. If we lose, it will be because we aren't very good...but it is not a trap game.

Lester and Milliner are both 1st or 2nd rounders and good players. They won't make their money picking on those two guys. The guy that worries me is Belue, he will get picked on a lot, and may need help from a safety.

I know of cobi and that ex-qb (Mitchell?)

Beyond that i can't say I'm too familiar with Arkys Wrs

Wilson is a elite Qb and can take a lick. But there isn't another coach in CFB that I would rather have gameplan for elite players than CNS

Thanks for the well wishes but noooo...

We're not going to score 33% of their 2012 points allowed total.
