Bama looked good. Damn good. TJ Yeldon is a beast, but that O-line is ridiculously good.

Dee Milliner was impressive.

Having said all that, I think all the big repeat declarations are a little early. Sure it looks like they have a good chance with the way they played last night. But, those two big plays they gave up could be an indication of some bad things later on. Especially against Arky. Maybe LSU too if Mett is as advertised. Hopefully CNS straightens that shite out.

Takes a lot of luck to win a national championship. We have as good a chance as anyone but losing two still won't surprise me

Yes, Milliner needs longer cleats if we play on turf again.

If Bama does not win it, I will be shocked. LSU may derail it, but no one else.

LSU sucked in the late 70's -early 80's in football. Now they have (had) a chance. If they can't pull one out this year, then it might be a long slide back to mediocrity.

Under Bear Bryant Alabama thrived, then, and under Sabin now.

So, dramatic. LSU in the 70's and 80's is not LSU in the 00's and 10's. LSU and Bama are two teams that have the misfortune of being in the same division of the SEC while being titans in the same time period.

Agreed. But did you catch that I said ...

WTF is this shite?

There seems to be more LSU fans sucking on Bama's chode on this board than the actual Bama fans.

I watched most of that game. Time will tell if Bama is really that good, or Michigan was over rated. What I saw out of Bama was hugely impressive, and if you are indeed that good, a few big plays from opposing teams won't really mean squat. Not if Bama is indeed this dominant.

It may drive Saban nuts, as it should, but early indication is Bama may be on a roll to repeat.

I think Bama is good, and Meatchicken WAY overrated.

Bellue did not impress me and Millner looked brilliant at times but when he slipped he had bit on that outside move by the WR. He was beat. I was surprised they kept going after Millner after the great first half he had.

It's called reality. Cheerleaders are for the fans, and you are doing a great job cheerleading!

But cheerleading doesn't win games, reality does.

But, keep your pom-poms and cheerleader costume on, and keep it up! Great work!

No, it's called the first fricking week of football. You do realize LSU was coming off a W over the #3 team in the country and runner up in the previous national championship this time last season while Alabama was playing Kent State, right?

I'm not saying LSU is better than Alabama by any means but to say we're going to "slip back into mediocrity" if we don't win a national championship this year is dumb as hell. Get the frick outta here with that.

Bama's only question mark to me is their secondary against a potent passing game.

The games against Arky, Mizzou, and Tennessee should tell alot in that regard.

From what I got to watch between plays of the AU game, Bama was dominate. I feel they are the team to beat. I hate Bama, but they know how to win. They can line up, bust you in the mouth on both sides of the ball, and leave you wondering what just happened. I love that kind football.

Oh, and Bama fans....

Yeah I remember that Millner play where he was suckered on and couldn't recover. I guess I can kinda understand Bama fans concerns here some, because as good as Bama has been, the bar is set pretty damn high.

Granted it's early in the season, but I just don't see anyone slowing Bama down other than LSU, especially if Mett is the real deal. I just think Bama is the best team in college football this year. And if they play their usual smart, hard nosed football, I expect alot of beat downs this year.
