My understanding was that the officials were going to make a decision today whether to postpone this game or not? What is the verdict?

No decision made yet, will be made sometime this afternoon, but I think most expect the game to be played.

In what way would that be an advantage to LaTech?? We have the far superior OL and running game.

I would argue advantage A&M-we have the o-line and the running backs to play in the rain.

Floyd Raven gonna get burrrned. Can't wait to see him fall flat on his face. Glad that nutcase isn't suiting up in the red and blue Saturday.

Decent athlete, however major prima donna.

If we play it's advantage A&M and it's not even close. Run the ball 80 times. Game over. Maybe let Manziel throw one pass to get that out of his system.

Raven isn't in our 2 deep. hth

Advantage is to A&M - better running backs and O-line.

He won't be starting and is about 5th on the depth chart at CB. And I think its his mom that was the nutcase.

Our 4th or 5 corner on the Depth Chart. He's solid but isn't starting for us.

I agree that rough weather is a major advantage to A&M. If it is a smash mouth game it's over. Just line up that monster OL and give it to Christine Michael 40 times. La Tech is the team that has to throw it 70% of the time, A&M just likes to spread the field but doesn't have to.

Raven's Mom is the one that forged his sig and sent it to Ole Miss. That chick is BSC but he was raised by his Grandma. Kid had a rough upbringing for sure.

Raven is a very physical cover corner that loves to smack talk. He is still not cracking the 2 deep right now because he sometimes doesn't follow the system but he is a talent. Wouldn't call him a prima donna. Thug? Maybe. Rocket scientist? Probably not. Fast dude that loves to hit people? Absolutely.

This is how I would see it as well assuming A&M can run the ball well. Odds are Manziel probably wasn't going to be throwing that much this game regardless unless A&m was able to get a big lead early.

About the only advantage to playing on a wet field for a passing team is that there is a greater risk the DBs could slip and fall down providing for some big plays.

Still, the line of the game is only 7 points right now so the weather issue hasn't overly influenced Vegas so they may see a low scoring affair, haven't seen the O/U predictions.

Honestly, it favors Manziel's coming out more than ANY other scenario. We know that the guy has wheels, the question is his poise and mastery of the system as a passer. You give him a perfect weather first game where he has to pass and he probably chunks a couple INTs and it shakes his confidence. Let him scramble in the mud all day and he's Johnny Football Hero dominating central TX HS FB again.

Kerrville = Central TX? Maybe my geography is flawed, but I never considered a San Antonio-area school "central TX".

Haha nice troll. Dominant O-Line and 2 five star running backs...but we won't be able to run.

I think what the poster is saying is that the old cliche "rain levels the playing field"...yes the OVERALL advatage is clearly A&M. The rain though will level the playing field...as an example...you're not going to be as fast as you normally are on a wet field which is going to help the slower team, LA Tech.

I hope that poster learned his lesson when talking about A&M to A&M fans...

Not a troll at all La Trch returns most of their team that Won the WAC last year. They beat Ole Miss by 3tds and played TCU, Houston, Southern Miss and Mississippi State very close only losing by 7 or less to those 4 teams.
