I'm coming to Oxford for A&M vs Ole Miss, any tips from experienced SEC folks on where to stay? Looks like Tupelo or Memphis. TIA

You can stay at my house if you want.

It's free- I just want to video tape you while you sleep.

DIddy,

I laughed.

Its actually the best away game that I'll be able to attend. I work oil & gas and am gone for 20-30 days in a hitch.

Have you checked Batesville? Only twenty minutes out but may already be full.

Going from Dallas, I stayed at a Casino in Tunica and it was about an hour drive to Oxford from there.

Tupelo has built in recent years a lot of new motels and restaurants.. All of the chains are here with good places to eat including about 3 local places that are good. Most near the Mall or Gloster Street approaching the Mall. It's 53 miles to Ole Miss from Tupelo. Real easy drive, some new 4 lanes to made it nice. The only motel not here is the Holiday Inn which just tore down and is rebuilding new,all other are here, even a small Marriott. We have Outback,Chili's, Lone Star Steakhouse, Logan's Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Vanelli's[good], Hot Wings place, others.
